How I use UniKeep...

We asked how you use UniKeep binders in spring organization!

Hi! I'm a senior at Miami Jackson Senior High School, in Florida. For those seniors like me, who are preparing to head out for college next fall, organization is immensely important. That's why the UniKeep binders can help to get everything in order for the high-school-to-college transition to be as smooth as possible, ranging from college applications, to financial aid/scholarship forms, and all other sorts of paperwork that involve many other aspects of making that huge step of starting college. Hope this idea is useful!

I got into researching my family history after a school project.  When my family members found out I got given heaps of piles of papers, books and photos to work my way through.

UniKeep binders have been a godsend.  I keep information about my mother's side of the family in one 5.0 Extreme Case Binder, and my fathers' in another.  The five sections help me keep my information organized.  I keep the lists of people I know about in the first section.  The second holds extra information like birth certificates and records.  The third holds photos and letters.  The forth holds information about 'leads'; all the people that are probably part of my family tree, but that I have not yet confirmed.  Finally, the last section holds all the other bits and pieces like war medals.  I also have a separate binder for each side of the family that holds everything that I don't need to keep but can't bear to throw away, like the family records my grandparents kept (in their own handwriting) that I have copied out into my own records.

When I have children I will leave the whole lot to them and, since there is not a whole lot of organization to go through (like I had to) they might be interested enough to keep it up and eventually leave it to their own children to carry on. Thank you UniKeep!

This binder has been designed with the intention of assisting pre-school children with taking their first steps of studying at an elementary level. The colorful cover serves a reference for children learning the proper shape of each letter of the alphabet and the binder, as a whole, would allow children to develop skills in organization as well as in neatness.

What the judges said:
I really love this concept and the way that is was executed. It is a great cover for a young child!
