Judge A: Broad appeal, just enough whimsy to bring a smile without being cute.

Business

Graphic Designer

Judges Comments:
Judge B: All about business! I see flash drives, PDAs, laptop totes...which reminds me, I'd better get back to work!
Judge C: Business designs can be so serious and hard edged. What I liked about this design was the subtle blending of color, soft tonal values, and more personal images (like the cell phone and tote) used in connection with doing business rather than with business itself. It was refreshing.

Education

Positive

Designer notes: Good Education = Kids think positive. Kids think positive = Positive World in the Future.

Judges Comments:
Judge C: I think that education should be inspiring and both the color and movement in this very liquid design does just that.
Judge B: Even tho this is the sole entry in this category, I'd choose it anyway because I like the free-flowing design (sort of like what a mind does with the benefit of education).
Judge A: It may be the only entry, but it's a strong design. The font choice, word and letter spacing aren't pleasing to my eye, but everything else about the design makes up for that down side.

Sports

Judge B: This cover reminds me that I shouldn't have had that ham-and-cheese bagel this morning. Oh, and I like the UniKeep logo on the ball ;-)
Judge C: I loved that the UniKeep logo was used as the highlight on the ball. Displaying the logo in white connected the shorts and the sneakers, forming a triangle that keeps your eye moving across the layout.
