Judi Kauffman is a nationally known designer, teacher and writer. Her favorite activities include rubber stamping, paper crafting, collage, and anything that has to do with yarn, fibers, and fabric. Her most recent book, By the Batch: Creative Cards, Postcards, Envelopes & More (Watson-Guptill), explores ways to create one-of-a-kind cards in series. She credits her parents (both artists) and her grandfather (a tailor) for giving her the encouragement and materials to pursue her lifelong multi-faceted interests.

Working as a designer/product developer, she joined a manufacturing company where she was introduced to a new world of creative crafting and scrapbooking.
