UniKeep LLC Announces Creative Case Binder Design Contest Winner
Winning Design Incorporates Binder Structure and Graphic Features

Columbus, OH — September 8, 2004 -- UniKeep LLC, manufacturer of the award winning View Case Binder™ announced today the winner of the UniKeep Design Awards. “Thanks! I'm so excited to have won. I told several of my friends, "I never win anything!" But the truth is, I don't really enter anything either. I think UniKeep makes a great binder, so it was easy to spend the time,” exclaimed Darrin Hunter winner of UniKeep’s First Annual Design Awards.

“ I designed templates for the cover insert and also the binder contents so that users would conceive of their presentations as objects-in-the-round instead of simply paying attention to the cover. The UniKeep's transparency and unique structural system allow for more creativity than that. Layered, complex visual effects are possible by strategically cutting away parts of the cover insert to reveal both the binder's elegant structure and the contents themselves," wrote Hunter, who is the Manager of Media Design for KZF Design in Cincinnati. "Also, the materials of the inserts can be varied for spectacular visual effects,” he continued.

The monthly award was $100 to each category winner and at the end of the contest, $1,000 was awarded to each overall "Best of Category" and $2,000 was awarded to the “Best of Show”.

• Education - Designs for school or teaching. Includes school reports, memory books, homework, notebooks, records, project presentations, teaching plans or school publications.
• Sports - Big league to little league, anything sports-related goes here. Includes record books, rulebooks, playbooks, stats, memory books or team rosters.
• Hobbies & recreation. - Fun & non-profit. Can include scrapbooks, travelogues, journals, home decorating planners, family albums, craft or project files.
