The ABCs of Art

After the success of the UniKeep View Case Binder™ for Hero, Hawk and Open Hand, The Art Institute of Chicago requested a similar solution for a teaching tool and learning guide they developed to help teachers integrate art into early childhood education.

In addition to text-based materials, the complete kit included posters, samples and art activities, so The Art Institute was aggressively looking for packaging options that fit their upscale image while allowing easy integration of a range of materials better than the traditional three ring binders they had been using.

This time, a clear UniKeep View Case Binder™ neatly enclosed all of the varied materials in the package with integrated protection and security for the documents that made the addition of a slipcover or box unnecessary.

By printing directly on the clear poly overlay of the binder, UniKeep was able to achieve the high-resolution reproduction to match the internal graphics.  Unlike vinyl binders with inserts or even turned-edge binders, the design seamlessly wraps around the binder.  The enclosed case protects the contents from inadvertent fingerprints, spills and other mishaps in unpredictable learning environments and allows educators to easily add to the materials in any format.

The binders were delivered to the commercial printer where each could be quickly loaded with the sets of internal pages.  The complete delivered piece was exactly what The Art Institute of Chicago wanted:  a rugged teaching tool that encouraged frequent use because it effectively and attractively presented and preserved the material for its intended use.
