Marysville, OH –January 30, 2006– -- With the growing success of the UniKeep Design Awards, UniKeep LLC, manufacturer of the award winning View Case Binder™ announced the “Third Annual UniKeep Design Awards” on January 1, 2006. The contest was created for UniKeep’s expanding group of loyal View Case Binder™ users to showcase their creative cover designs and organizing solutions with an opportunity to win cash and prizes.

UniKeep is pleased to announce award-winning HOW Magazine as the sponsor for the Third Annual UniKeep Design Awards. Winner of a Gold Ozzie for best re-design for B-To-B and a Gold Eddie for best editorial for the category of Design/ Advertising/Marketing in 2005, as well as sponsor of their own annual contests for designers, HOW brings unparalled authority and experience in the field of design.  

Eric Rickabaugh, owner and creative director of Rickabaugh Graphics is a judge for the 2006 contest.  With nearly thirty years of experience in graphic design, his studio has created award-winning graphic designs for corporate clients such as the NFL, NBA, NHL, Toyota, Hasbro Toys, Coca-Cola, Mead Paper and MGM.  Eric's designs have been recognized by nearly every major design publication including Graphis, Communication Arts, Print, HOW and Step-By-Step.  The studio has also been the subject of feature articles in five major design publications and Eric was invited to speak on graphic design and the studio's work at The Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.

As in previous contests, 2006 contestants can create and submit a custom cover design for any one of the many sizes of UniKeep binders. Entries may be submitted in one of five categories to be eligible to win monthly cash prizes, and the first 50 entries each month will receive a product prize, too!  

Links to all entries will be posted in the UniKeep 2006 Gallery for the public to access for personal use. The monthly award will be $100 to each category winner. At the end of the contest, $500 will be awarded to each overall "Best of Category" and $1,500 will be awarded as the Grand Prize to the overall “Best of Show”.

How to Enter the UniKeep Design Awards Contest
From January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006, original art files may be submitted online for one of five design categories.  The electronic files must remain available for public download for the duration of the contest on either the UniKeep web site or the entrant’s own site.  Entrants 13 years or older can enter multiple designs, but only in one category per design.
